PERRY TAKES TWO-STROKE LEAD
Kenny Perry just sunk a 12-foot putt for a birdie on the 11th hole to move to -3 for the third round and -14 overall to take a two-stroke lead.
John Merrick double-bogeyed the 12th hole to drop back to -11 overall. That gave Perry a two-stroke lead over Hunter Mahan and Paul Goydos, both at -12.
