Justin Rose broke the record for lowest score through 36 holes at the Travelers Championship (and everything else it's been named in the past). He has shot a 14-under 126 through the first two rounds.
He also came up 1 shot shy of tying the course record. Kirk Triplett (2000), Phil Mickelson (2001), Scott Verplank (2001), Brad Faxon (2005) and Kenny Perry (2009) have all shot 9-under 61s at TPC River Highlands.
Tommy Bolt shot a 60 in 1954 when the tournament was held at Wethersfield Country Club.
Looking forward, Faxon holds the record for the best final 36 holes of this tournament, shooting a 14-under 126 in 2005.
For 72 holes, Perry stands alone with his tournament-record 22-under-par 258 from last year.
