Cantlay is your leader through Friday

Amateur Patrick Cantlay set the course record in the second round, firing a 10-under 60 to get to 13-under par through 36 holes. Hehas a four-shot lead in the middle of the second round.

Play was suspended at 8:01 p.m. Half the field has between seven and 16 holes to play to complete the second round. The projected cut is at 3-under 137.

Cantlay, a rising sophomore at UCLA, said he shot a 60 at his home course a few months ago.

Among the players at 9-under are Andres Romero, who still has 13 holes left in his second round, and Vaughn Taylor, a former tour winner.

Th seocnd round will resume at 7 a.m. Saturday. The third round will begin shortly after its completion.
