Good morning from TPC River Highlands and what a day for golf!
At 10:30 a.m. golf fans are just trickling in with no wait in the parking area, which is excpected since the leaders don't tee off until this afternoon. The crowd is expected to pick up between 11 a.m. and noon. Leaders Justin Rose (-14) and Kevin Sutherland (-10), the final group, tee off at 2 p.m.

The early news is J.J. Henry. The former Fairfield resident is -3 through 11 holes and stands at -5 overall. He has a long way to go to come close to catching Rose, but at least for now he is inching his way up the leaderboard.

Matt Jones has been on a roll. He birdied his last three holes - 12, 13 and 14 - to move into sole possession of second place (for now) at -9.
